We are a small local company run by a Berber family of nomads based in the endless sand dunes of the Sahara desert of Merzouga (Erg Chebbi). We have been rooted in the landscapes, stories, and traditions of our homeland for generations. Each of our journeys is based not only on years of experience, but also on our deep knowledge of nature, the people, and the way of life we have lived since childhood.
Our goal is not only to drive you around or offer you a trip to explore new places but we let you experience our country as a local and want you to take home authentic rich experiences. With us, you won’t find standard programs, but genuine encounters, carefully designed tours, and the opportunity to get to know our culture up close.

Since 2016, we’ve helped travelers embark on remarkable adventures in Morocco while empowering the local community. We design custom private tours in Morocco for people who want truly authentic travel experiences that take them to places they wouldn’t get to see on their own. Since we are located in Marrakech, Morocco, we are personally involved in every aspect of your tour. We work closely with our guests to create life changing experiences based upon what they really want.

Mohamed Amraoui
Co-FounderMohamed opened his eyes in the tent of his family and grew up in the Sahara desert. He attended a nomadic lifestyle, herding animals in the middle of nowhere, and gained his university degrees in English studies in Meknes city.
Said Hassou
Co-FounderSaid is one of the founding partners of MTB. He has been involved in our vision casting since the very beginning. Said grew up in the Sahara desert and had the same remarkable nomadic childhood as Mohamed.
Mohamed Abira
Co-FounderMohamed is one of the founding partners of MTB. His knowledge of tourism best practices is vital to our team. He was born in the Sahara desert and studied programming in Agadir city.

Hassan
Local GuideHassan was born into a nomadic family in Taous region. Where he was seven, his parents moved from a tent to a small kasbah in Rissani town located in Tafilalt oasis. He studied English in Meknes city and enjoys spending most of his time with his family.
Zaid
Local GuideZaid grew up in Erfoud town and he still lives there with his entire family. Zaid has tons of experience in the tourism industry. He worked as a waiter in a camp in the desert and receptionist in a riad in Fes before joining Morocco Travel Boutique team as guide.

Youssef
Youssef is a nomadic Berber man born in the Sahara Desert. He calls the Sahara Desert home and loves sharing its beauty with guests along the way. If you are spending two nights in the desert, you’ll also enjoy a Berber pizza picnic.
