From there, we’ll make our way through the narrow, winding streets of Marrakech Medina, a maze of alleys lined with bustling souks. Visit the Bahia Palace, an architectural marvel built in the late 19th century. The palace, with its lush gardens, intricate tilework, and ornate rooms, reflects the grandeur of Moroccan royalty.
Afterward, we’ll visit Palace El Badi and Madrasa Ben Youssef, the most impressive and historically significant landmark in Morocco, reflecting the splendor of Islamic architecture and the educational heritage of the country.
In the afternoon, we will take you to visit the Majorelle Garden, a stunning botanical oasis, renowned for its vibrant colors, exotic plant collection, and tranquil ambiance. Stop by the Koutoubia Mosque, the most iconic building in the city. While non-Muslims are not allowed to enter the mosque, its exterior offers a beautiful view of Moroccan architecture, featuring stunning Arab-Andalusian designs.
Later, our guide will escort you back to the peaceful oasis of your Riad. The soothing sound of a fountain, soft cushions, intricate tilework, and a calming ambiance invite you to relax and unwind after a lovely exploration day in the medina.

Our adventure begins as we ascend the winding roads of the High Atlas Mountains. The landscape here is truly dramatic, featuring rugged peaks and deep, sweeping valleys. We’ll take our time navigating the mountain passes, offering plenty of opportunities to stop and admire the stunning views of the snow-capped summits before descending toward the desert plains.
Next, we reach the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. This UNESCO-listed fortified village is a masterpiece of ancient mud-brick architecture. You’ll feel like you’ve stepped onto a film set—and for good reason. This location has served as the backdrop for legendary productions like Game of Thrones, Indiana Jones, and Kingdom of Heaven.
A short drive brings us to Ouarzazate, famously known as the "Hollywood of Africa." As a central hub for global film production, the town is home to Atlas Studios, one of the largest movie studios in Africa. You’ll have the opportunity to visit the studios where classics like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia were brought to life.
Continuing our journey along the "Road of a Thousand Kasbahs," we enter the fragrant Rose Valley in Kalaat M’Gouna. Known as the Rose Town, this area is world-renowned for its vibrant rose products and annual festival.
As the afternoon light begins to soften, we arrive at our destination in the Dades Valley. You can finally unwind after a smooth day of exploration and mountain driving. Your accommodation offers a peaceful retreat nestled among the cliffs, featuring traditional Moroccan decor and a delicious home-cooked meal to end your day in one of Morocco’s most fascinating natural wonders.

EXPAND COLLAPSEToday, we leave Dades valley and travel to the endless golden dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga desert, along the way we will stop in Tinghir to admire the mesmerizing Todra Valley, known for the lush Todra Palmeraie Gorge. Continue along the valley to reach the dramatic Gorges of Todra while making frequent stops for photos, a haven for rock climbers and nature lovers. Your driver/guide will suggest taking a leisurely walk beneath the 300-meter cliffs. Every corner will leave you in awe. If time permits and based on your interests, you will visit a women weaving Berber carpets association.
After a traditional lunch, the drive continues to Merzouga desert via some Berber villages and a Palmeraie oasis of Tafilalt. An optional stop will be made in a Berber family shop, where you will dress traditionally and get a henna tattoo for photography. Free of charge, but possible to get the best scarf for your desert experience to protect you from the sand and sunburn.
Upon arrival in Merzouga desert and as the sun begins to set, you’ll leave the vehicle behind and embark on a 1 hour camel ride into your featured camp. Riding atop your camel, you’ll traverse the vast golden dunes, feeling the tranquility of the Sahara all around you. The evening light casts a warm glow on the dunes, creating an unforgettable moment of serenity. After your phone’s gallery is full with some sunset photos, you arrive at a traditional desert camp nestled in the heart of the dunes. Here, you'll enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, followed by some traditional songs around an open fire played by locals under the star-filled sky.

After breakfast at the camp you will have the option to take the 4 Wheel transfer or camel trek back to the village of Merzouga, appreciating the unique beauty of the Erg Chebbi dunes as they change with the light throughout the day.
Embark on an exuberant four-wheel drive excursion of the desert and surrounding areas. Head to Khamlia, a berber slave village located on the edge of golden Erg Chebbi sand dunes, and known as the Gnaoua people. Learn more about the lifestyle, culture, music, and food.
Next, cross the sand dunes towards the abandoned village of Mifis. Here, you’ll explore mines filled with fossils found in this ancient place on a high plateau of hamada (rocky desert) with a huge panoramic view of the sea of dunes and varied desert landscapes.
Continue our off road journey on a Rally Paris Dakar to get to the nomad families on the borders. Share a cup of mint tea with them under their tent and learn about their nomadic lifestyle in the harsh lash desert.
After lunch in a local traditional restaurant, stretch your legs as you walk through Merzouga desert oasis full of local garden communities. Later, we’ll take you to your authentic hotel facing the sea sand of Erg Chebbi, passing by Lake Dayet Srji Lake or Merzouga lake as it is called by locals. This lake attracts numerous birds in spring such as flamingos. Free time to try some extra activities such as quad biking, buggies or horseback riding.

EXPAND COLLAPSEToday, rise early to watch a stunning sunrise where you will see the sunshine cover the small golden sand dunes of Merzouga and the rocky, barren Sahara Desert. After your breakfast at the camp, you will trek back by camel, or if you feel you’ve had enough of riding the camels, you have the option for a 4WD vehicle drive back from the camp.
You will then head north towards the spiritual city of Fes, through tranquil oases, vast Berber towns, and the beautiful Atlas Mountains. First stop will be in Ziz Valley, The drive continues through the beautiful landscape of the middle Atlas Mountains, including a stop at the cedar forest in Michlifen to watch Barbary apes in their natural habits, as you will pass many traditional Berber villages where you can interact with local inhabitants, through this journey, you will be amazed by the stunning contrast during the drive.
Next stop will be at the town of Ifrane, referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco” as it has alpine-style architecture and nearby slopes and forests. After a leisure walk in the National Park of Ifrane, we continue to Fes via the last green hills of the Mid Atlas Mountains. Eventually, we reach our authentic accommodation in Fes medina, providing the perfect blend of comfort and convenience, so you can unwind after a day of exploring and recharge for the adventure that lies ahead.

First visit the ancient well preserved Royal Palace, featuring stunning intricately designed gates, with the most famous being the golden gate of the palace. Also considered a magnificent example of Moroccan architecture in Fes.
Continuing our exploration, we’ll escort you through the narrow alleyways of a UNESCO World Heritage Medina. As you step into the medina, the sights, sounds, and smells immediately envelop you. Stop at Chouara Tannery, one of the oldest in the world that’s still alive for now. Learn about the ancient process of leather tanning, passed down through generations.
After lunch, we will head to the Attarine Madrasa and the majestic Al-Qarawiyyin University,often considered the oldest continuously operating university in the world. From there, you’ll have a pick up choice by your driver or walk back to your hotel through the alleyways surrounded by local shops.

As you walk among the grand columns and stunning mosaics, you’ll witness the remnants of what was once a vital administrative center of the Roman Empire.
Our journey continues to the imperial city of Meknes, the 17th-century capital under the rule of Sultan Moulay Ismail. Here, we will marvel at the intricate tilework of the monumental Bab Mansour and Bab Lakhmis gates, which served as the grand entrances to the sultan's city. We will also descend into the mysterious Qara Prison, an expansive underground jail, and visit the serene, well-maintained Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail to appreciate the region's rich architectural heritage.
Finally, we leave the ancient wonders behind and drive toward the coast to reach Rabat, the elegant capital of Morocco. Check into your accommodation for the evening.
